Loaded Oatmeal
Ingredients:
Produce
● Fresh Berries ● 1/2 Banana
Breakfast Foods
● 1/2 cup Rolled oats, old fashioned ( You can also substitute Kamut, spelt, crushed or steel cut oats- soaked overnight)
Nuts & Seeds
● 1 Tbsp Hemp Seeds ● 1 Tbsp Chia seeds
● 1 Tbsp Slivered Almonds
Baking & Spices
● 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon ● 1 pinch Sea salt
Sweetener
1 Tbsp Organic Raw Agave (Optional) OR 1 Tbsp brown sugar (Florida Crystals, Now Foods Beet Sugar, Rapunzel Organic Whole Cane Sugar, Sugar in the Raw, Wholesome Organic Palm Sugar)
Liquid
● 1 cup Water ● ½ cup almond or coconut milk
Instructions: Combine oats, water, salt, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Divide servings equally. Drizzle each serving with 1 Tbsp agave. Add additional desired toppings and serve.
